The second annual Theatre Crude Fringe Festival is going digital with Factory Obscura

As things in our community and across the world have developed and changed since the beginning of the year, we've been waiting, hopeful and optimistic about holding this year's festival in person. As the planned date nears, we have weighed our options for bringing artists and audience into the same physical space for this year's festival. However, Theatre Crude has decided that too many unknowns remain and it is not yet possible to gather together safely.

So, we're going digital!

This year's festival will feature live streamed performances from participating companies of emerging and established artists. Shows will be streamed in collaboration with Factory Obscura at the Mix-Tape experience in Oklahoma City. And for those who prefer to watch at their own pace, Theatre Crude will offer a subscription based video archive of the entire festival. We look forward to sharing fringe theatre with you in a new way this October.

The 10-day festival will kick off October 1 and continue with a daily roster of performances from a variety of artists. Last year’s festival featured local and traveling shows from theatre artists that incorporated dance, stand-up comedy and more. Several of last year’s productions were world premiere productions.
