Celebrate Moriah Bailey’s Album Release at Factory Obscura!

Songwriter & harpist Moriah Bailey will release I Tried Words, her first record since 2017’s Sitting with Sounds and Listening for Ghosts on December 2nd. She is celebrating with an album release show at Factory Obscura on December 3rd with Maddie Razook as the opener.

Held together by words, their limits, their potential, their weight, the album reflects on moments where the word “no” was either not spoken or not valued. Sitting with the experience of speaking and not being heard, experiences of abuse, and how those experiences influence relationships with the self, with romantic partners, with friends, with jobs, I Tried Words explores perceived dualities: yes/no, future/past, darkness/light, giving/taking, masculinity/femininity, wants/needs.
