Join Factory Obscura as we prepare for our annual Winter Solstice celebration, the March of the Trees!

On Saturday, December 16, 3-6pm you are invited to get creative with us, as we create lanterns, costumes, and marching sticks for the March of the Trees Winter Solstice Celebration on 12/21. Some materials and guidance will be provided, and you’re also welcome to bring your own projects or materials to work on.

Participants are encouraged to wear illuminated tree costumes for the March of the Trees! This can be whatever a tree means to you. Sample materials might include: garlands, ornaments, LED lights, branches/sticks, bells, masks, beads, fabrics, wire, yarn, ribbon, etc. If you’d like to create a marching stick, please bring a branch to decorate.

The Make Day is free to attend and open to all ages and experience levels. Held in conjunction with Automobile Alley’s Lights on Broadway event!
