Fiawna Forté - Panelist
Fiawna Forté is an interdisciplinary artist primarily known for her ability to create and produce music across multiple genres and forms.  She has been celebrated for her live performances that vary from energetic, full-band sets to captivating solo material.  Fiawna has extensively toured the nation and has performed a variety of festivals (including 5 SXSW showcases opening for artists such as Leon Russell and Wanda Jackson). Forté’s song ‘I’d Rather Die’ was featured in South Korea’s very first smart phone (Pantechs Vega  no. 6) ad and in Sterlin Harjo’s film, Barking Water, featured at 2009 Sundance in which she also makes a cameo appearance. Forté joined with Harjo again for the making of her music video ‘Boat Song’ in 2010. She has been featured on compilations all across Europe alongside Amy Winehouse. And has created and directed numerous music videos for Tulsa based artists. Forté is also a passionate sculptor working primarily with scrap lumber and metal to create musically inspired structures.

Kyanne Kroeger - Panelist
Kyanne Kroeger is a senior at the Academy of Contemporary Music at UCO, majoring in Music Production and Audio Engineering. She’s spent the past three years mixing live sound at Tower Theatre and Beer City Music Hall, where her love for live audio blossomed. Ky is passionate about creating unforgettable live experiences and finds it deeply rewarding to represent women in an industry that’s constantly evolving. She’s excited to be part of the new wave of engineers shaping the future of music!

BertaB - Panelist
BertaB started making music in 2020 as a way to heal and express what words couldn’t.

In 2023, she released her first EP—an intimate, dreamy project that set the tone for her sound. Since then, she’s been performing locally and slowly sharing new songs when they feel right. Her music blends soft, airy textures with raw emotion, creating a sound that feels like a deep breath. Ethereal, honest, and a little otherworldly—BertaB makes music for the quiet moments.

Lindsey Cox - Moderator
“Lindsey Cox is the creative force behind the OKC-based Art punk band, stepmom. She wears many hats as an artist, musician, director, producer, talent booker and event producer at Factory Obscura, and host of her own radio show "Lindsey's Lounge" on KOSU/The Spy. Advocating for the local music community is at the core of Lindsey's many endeavors.”
