Little Mazarn
w/ Creekbed Carter
& Ramsey Thornton
‘The music of Little Mazarn is a cool float a few feet from the ground through a dimly lit, almost familiar forest. It is quieter than silence, big as everything, still but always moving. If you’ve ever had flying dreams, or an amazing night time bike ride on LSD, this might be a world for you.’ - Thor Harris
Blasphemous, stripped-down, and a stomping good time: Creekbed Carter Hogan is a trans musician with a heart of gold slinging queergrass out of dive bars, sewer creeks, and fancy national stages alike. Hailing from Austin, TX, Carter weaves stories of growing up Catholic around deftly written songs that pierce the soul and tickle the funny bone, creating a unique blend of folk picking and queer mayhem where anyone can feel welcome and loved.
Based out of Tulsa, OK, Ramsey Thornton is a songwriter, banjoist, and drummer. Continuously looking for ways to mix the elements of folk with more contemporary styles, his writing emphasizes songs that are lyrically-driven while taking the time to ensure solid groove and thoughtful melody. Thornton is partnered with Dublin-based A For Effort Records.
