Interactive Felt Mural
This interactive felt wall mural is a collaborative creation between our Factory Obscura artists and everyone who visits our lobby! The design is inspired by music, using dots as a simplified representation of sound, and a 3D paint technique to further incorporate the sense of touch with textured pattern. Our artists invite you to make your own collaborative additions to the mural with our fun box of felt pieces.
Enter Through The Ear
The vision of the Mix-Tape experience started with a meeting where every Factory Obscura artist was asked to share one song that had touched them deeply somewhere along their journey. Over multiple brainstorming sessions we talked about the music, the memories it triggered, the images it brought to mind, and how it made us feel. The Mix-Tape experience is an expression of all those feelings, and it’s our very own Mix-Tape to you. We hope that when you step through the giant ear, you’ll feel all those feelings too...and leave transformed.
