At the heart of Factory Obscura’s work as an artist collective is a mission to support artists and arts education in our community. While 2020 has changed how many students and families approach education, our team of artists has been busy creating lots of new ways to have fun and meet your arts learning goals.
Here are all the ways you can learn with us at Mix-Tape, both at-home and in-person!
TICKET DISCOUNTS FOR SCHOOL GROUPS & HOME SCHOOL FAMILIES
Is a visit to Mix-Tape on your homeschool or virtual learning agenda? We’ve got special discounts to help you enjoy a fun arts field trip as part of your learning. Use code HOMESCHOOL on checkout to access tickets at our school rate of $10/person for all ages (3 & under are always free). Discount valid Wednesday-Friday, 11am-5pm only.

MIX-TAPE ARTS LEARNING GUIDES
Available FREE at our box office, these guides help students and parents discover teaching moments as you explore the Mix-Tape experience. These guides are developed by Factory Obscura teaching artists, and meet some of the most critical arts learning goals. Appropriate for a wide range of ages, you’ll learn the principles of art while taking an adventure through the immersive Mix-Tape experience.

Available FREE at our box office, our scavenger hunt sheets help young explorers slow down and look closely as they explore the Mix-Tape world.
AT-HOME PROJECT KITS - with a FREE kid ticket to Mix-Tape!
We've got over a dozen ways for you to get creative at home, with our At-Home Project Kits, inspired by the Mix-Tape experience! To keep the fun going, each kit now comes with a voucher for a FREE child's admission ticket to Mix-Tape ($12 value).

While you’re visiting us on 9th Street in Automobile Alley, be sure to check out the art, food, and local shops in our neighborhood.
Across the street, our neighbors at S&B’s Burger Joint welcome families with KIDS EAT FREE ALL DAY EVERY TUESDAY. (Kids 12 & under. One free kid meal with purchase of full price adult entree.) NOTE: Our Mix-Tape experience is closed on Tuesdays, but 9th Street is a fun destination for families every day of the week!
